StudentCity is currently looking for a responsible young adult to manage the accounting duties in one of our exotic locations during Spring Break! As the largest provider of Spring Break packages in the world, StudentCity is committed to providing the Ultimate Spring Break Experience. As an onsite accountant, you are responsible for a variety of duties and require you to remain available and professional at all times. Being organized, energetic, and able to work under pressure are attributes that are necessary for the successful execution of this role.
This position is a seasonal job that requires a 3-week minimum commitment in one of the following locations:
- Cancun, Mexico
- Nassau, Bahamas
- Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
- Freeport, Bahamas
- South Padre Island, Texas
- Daytona Beach, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of onsite cash with cashiers
- Issuing and keeping track of program inventory
- Manage cash disbursement
- Maintain program budgets; monitor expenses
- Process and issue payments for vendor invoices
- Process and issue pay for on-site staff members
- Always maintain the program Reporting Pack up-to-date
- Resolve any on-site accountint discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Be available to work a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks between the end of February and the end of March 2018
- Be willing to work long hours, day or night, week or weekend
- Have a valid passport
- Be proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Be well organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- Be able and willing to follow directions from your Program Manager
- Be a team member and be willing to assist your fellow coworkers when needed
